I have PageContent documents with nested PageContent documents.

Using the code below I am able to return a single nested document using the parent id "id" and nested document id "itemid", but I couldn't figure out how to return a single nested document straight from the elastic server.

var response = await _elasticClient.GetAsync(DocumentPath<PageContent>.Id(id).Index("pagecontent"));
return response.Source.PageContentItems.Where(p => p.Id == itemid).FirstOrDefault();

I have PageContent documents with nested PageContent documents.

Using the code below I am able to return a single nested document using the parent id "id" and nested document id "itemid", but I couldn't figure out how to return a single nested document straight from the elastic server.

var response = await _elasticClient.GetAsync(DocumentPath<PageContent>.Id(id).Index("pagecontent"));
return response.Source.PageContentItems.Where(p => p.Id == itemid).FirstOrDefault();
