I want to make a Google chrome extension where the authentication to my api is exactly the same in my website as in the extension it self.

For the website and the API and i'm using laravel 5.6.
For the API authentication i'm using oauth-2.0 (laravel passport).
The website authentication is done with oauth-2.0 (laravel passport).

Tiny example
So I want that when I log out in the site I log out in the extension, but also if the site's key has expired that I log out of my extension.

What is the best practice?
