Since I've started, about 2 weeks ago, using the command:

%run 'mydir/mynotebook'

to import other Jupyter notebooks into the one I'm working on, it has worked great and if I made changes in the other notebook.
It was automatically applied when I ran the code in my main notebook.

But this stopped working earlier today when I had some Python issue (some module I installed changed my kernel to 2.7(?) so I had to do conda install to get back to the 3.7.2 kernel).

Now I need to reload the kernel every time to make the changes in the other notebook apply in my main notebook.

How can I fix it so that the changes get automatically applied again as this kernel restarting issue is really slowing me down?
