I need help , with how calculate 'animation' ?
I have some parameters

local anim_speed = 0.5 -- anim speed
local anim_duration = 5 -- anim dur - 5

local start_anim = 0 -- start value for animation
local anim_count_frames = _timer + anim_duration -- frames count for animation

and i check animation duration

it working

but it wrong for me

EaseOut = function(power)
return function(t)
return 1 - math.abs(math.pow(t-1, power))
end
end
testfunc1 = function()
start_anim = start_anim + 1
if anim_count > start_anim then
local num = (EaseOut(anim_count)(start_anim))
testfunc2(num) -- call other function with new value
end
end

The problem is that
if the duration is short, then it does not end completely.
I don't know how to explain it differently

  • Lua doesn't have any default animations, if "animation" part is important for question, mention the framework you are using.. The question is not formatted properly. It is not clear what the code is supposed to do. It is not clear what "but it wrong for me" means. It is not clear what testfunc2 is, if it is not relevant, remove its call, if it is important, include its definition.
