I have a sql statement that calls for a field filled with XML data and I can display that field within a matrix on my report. I'm trying to extract the characters before and after specific tags , but can't figure it out. The field name is called DataXML. The XML can have 0 embedded fields or many fields. As an example, here's how the data on the report which has a pCode in it.

|ArrayOfKeyValueOfstringstring xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/Arrays"||KeyValueOfstringstring||Key>pCode|/Key||Value|"license"|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring||/ArrayOfKeyValueOfstringstring|"

However, I'm only interested in grabbing one piece and displaying it. As an example, I just want to display P081906400099. So, the characters before this should always be: fCN1" and the following value should always be

|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring||/ArrayOfKeyValueOfstringstring|"

Unfortunately, something else will sometimes be after this in the XML coding so it's not consistent.

"|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring|
ArrayOfKeyValueOfstringstring xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/Arrays"||KeyValueOfstringstring||Key|type|/Key||Value|"code":"K","description":"MISC"|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring||KeyValueOfstringstring||Key|burned|/Key|Value|"code":"N","description":"NO"|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring||KeyValueOfstringstring||Key|issuer|/Key||Value|"84"|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring||KeyValueOfstringstring||Key|color|/Key||Value|["code":"SIL","description":"Aluminum/Silver"]|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring||KeyValueOfstringstring||Key|fCN1|/Key||Value|"P081906400099"|/Value||/KeyValueOfstringstring||/ArrayOfKeyValueOfstringstring|"

So, what's the best way to extract just P081906400099 in this example. I replace a lot of left and right arrows with || since my post would not appear.
TIA
