My application is being preloaded by Huawei to their devices and they informed me that my APK is using a version of OpenCV (2.4.13) that has a vulnerability. They got a score of 8.8 in their CVSS assessment.
My question is, is there a way to update the version of OpenCV that CardIO uses or can someone from the card.io team tell me if there is a new version coming out soon to resolve this issue?

Which 2.4.13.x? You're missing the last number. So far there have been 6, and 3 of those have been released after this issue has been fixed and backported. (You have to read "This affects Opencv 3.3 and earlier." as "versions released chronologically before 3.3")
