When I use debugger;
in VS Code, ESLint throws an error and disallows its use. How do I allow it to be used, globally? I have tried, in my .eslintrc.json
file...
"rules":
"no-debugger": 0
...but even this doesn't allow me to use it. Of course, I can use this for a single debugger;
statement:
// eslint-disable-next-line no-debugger
...but what if I don't want to do that each time? I just want to disable it once. Also, if it's no longer best practice to use the debugger directly in my file, where else can/should I use the debugger in Node? Where is it best practice to use the debugger?

It has come to my attention that we can use breakpoints instead of adebugger;
statement. This allows us to pause and debug, stepping through, without breaking the code with adebugger;
statement.
