I have a form called frmMain
that I call from a module using:
frmMain.show
I need to be able to use other spreadsheets whilst this is open, so I changed the way the userform is opened with:
frmMain.show vbModeless
the form opens and I can also use other spreadsheets.
The problem I have is that when frmMain
opens, I can't click anything inside it, I have to click a cell in the worksheet behind it and then click back into it. It seems to lose its focus to the worksheet when it's opened.
I've tried change the property Show Modal
to false
and this produces the same result.
I've also tried DoEvents
and also Repaint
after the .show
code, but I can't get it to work.
Any ideas?

I wasn't able to replicate your problem. Please share the userform code and also check if there are any events behind the worksheet you're working with that may affect the userform behaviour.
