I am trying to develop a system for audio classification in matlab using mfcc features and hidden markov models.
I was extract MFCC coefficients from a sample sound. As a result I get a Matrix of doubles that consists of 13 columns for each row (each row represents a frame of the sound). Now my problem is how to train the hmm using this data in matlab. I tried HMM tools in matlab and I tried Kevin Murphy tool(https://www.cs.ubc.ca/~murphyk/Software/HMM/hmm.html) but I never success, How can I use one of these tools or any other tool to train HMM and construct the models, How I can start?,
In what is the format the mfcc data should be passed to train the hmm?

I removed the hmmlearn tag and you put it back althought your question is NOT related to hmmlearn which is a Python library while your question is about a Matlab implementation. I will edit it again as you question shows in no way any relation to this library but is related to hidden markow models which has its own tag. These modifications are aimed at helping you finding answers to your question.
