I know this is quite an unprecise question but I cannot find why this happened and maybe someone can point me on the good track. I have been coding for a week and when I installed the apk on a real device, every single item on the UI looks bigger, even on activities that I haven't been working on. Is there some line of code that can change the resolution or something like that? I don't manage to find something like that.

There could be a million possibilities. If you used DPs while building your apps, theres a setting that makes the density of your screen bigger. It could be that.

If you are using "sp" units instead of "dp" units inTextView
s andEditText
s, the actual size is dependent on the user's font size setting. The user can change the size of displayed text by adjusting the font size in the Android settings.
