In Room, I know we can make entities with @Embedded
and @Relation
to create a one to many model. However, it seems to select all items where the parent and child columns match.
If I have two tables, one with column id_1
, and one with column id_2
and type
, how would I model a query that filters on both matching id
and type
?
The query would be something like:
SELECT * FROM table1 LEFT JOIN table2 ON id_1 = id_2 WHERE id_1 = :id AND type = :type"
,
but if the return model uses @Relation
, the compiler warns that all the table2 columns are unused, since they are fetched using the relation.
