I'm busy writing a python program to capture and decode the TCP packets in a game on an Android emulator. Initially I was writing the program in an Ubuntu VM on my windows machine, with the emulator also running on Windows and capturing the traffic on the 'ens33' device within my VM. However, when I moved the code over to my windows machine and attempted to capture the traffic on my ethernet, I noticed the packets I was easily capturing before were now being fragmented and I was also receiving duplicate packets.
How is it that there is such a difference between capturing the traffic between the two and what can I do in windows to capture the traffic as easy as I was doing in the Ubuntu VM?
