If I do git diff -U0 > patch
, I get patch does not apply
when later trying to apply the patch.
However, if I do git diff -U1 > patch
, the patch applies fine.
Does this mean Git has a one line context minimum requirement for patches?
Or what do I type for patches with zero lines of context (thus making them as short as possible)?
