I am writing a Flask application. This app gets video from webcam, calculates emotion metrics, and shows emotion metrics in the form of a real-time graph as well as face detected by webcam.
How to calculate emotion metrics is not important now. The problem is that I cannot show both frames captured by webcam and real-time graph. My code only shows one of them.
Please pay attention that I am not expert in Flask/HTML/Java. I mostly used GitHub code.
Here's part of the "app.py". I removed irrelevant parts. This code only shows real-time graph.
Function "video_feed()" returns frame captured by webcam.
Function "stream()" returns some random numbers shown on a real-time graph. I will replace these number by emotion metrics later.
@app.route("/", methods=['GET'])
def get_index():
return render_template('index.html')
def gen_camera(camera): # camera is an instance of Camera class
"""Video streaming generator function."""
while True:
frame = camera.get_frame()
yield (b'--framern'
b'Content-Type: image/jpegrnrn' + frame + b'rn')
@app.route('/video_feed')
def video_feed():

time.sleep(0.05)
return Response(gen(), mimetype="text/event-stream")
if __name__ == "__main__":
app.run(host='0.0.0.0', port=8000, debug=True)
The following code is my second try. It only shows the frame captured by webcam.

@app.route('/video_feed')
def video_feed():
